Dennis and I are Tom Sadge fans, for sure, but we are also friends. In October of 2003 we spent several days in Laughlin visiting Tom and enjoying A Really Big Shew® twice a night. (Yes, it's that good folks!) Although I wasn't able to photograph this show live, Gene Siler, producer of A Really Big Shew®, took these snapshots one of the nights we were there, and gave me permission to display them on this page. Thank you Gene! :)) Click on the photos to see them full size. |

The rest of these pictures are some we took at the 'Meet and Greet' after the shows, and the fabulous autographed photos you can get from these performers. |

Jerry Hoban as Ed Sullivan is the mainstay of A Really Big Shew® And now I'm dating myself by telling you I grew up watching The Ed Sullivan Show, but if you did too, or even if you've only watched old re-runs, you will do an absolute double-take when Jerry Hoban takes the stage!

The acts in A Really Big Shew® change every few weeks, and I'm really glad I got to see this one! These two are known as THE AMAZING VILLAMS, and it's a good title for them. They are indeed amazing...

BOB MOORE'S AMAZING MONGRELS was a breath of fresh air in variety entertainment. Every dog in this act is a rescued pound-dog, which makes them remarkable to start with, but the tricks they perform and the way they interact with the audience makes them an absolute heart-stealer! |

GAILYN ADDIS ...... "WOW" ... This young lady is a talent to reckon with. When we arrived in Laughlin, Gailyn was performing as LIZA MINELLI, and I was absolutely taken with how pretty she was, and how well she did Liza!! The look and the voice were amazing. (you can see her onstage in Gene's photos above) |

So imagine my surprise (and delight!) when MARILYN MONROE took the stage the next night! Absolute metamorphosis. Let's talk the Ultimate Blonde Bombshell! One of the songs Gailyn does as Marilyn is My Heart Belongs to Daddy, and some lucky guy in the audience gets to participate. Dennis was 'Daddy' this night! (And yes, he definitely felt lucky!)

TOM SADGE closed the show with about five classic NEIL DIAMOND songs. While we were there we heard him sing Cracklin' Rosie, Cherry, Cherry, I'm A Believer, Sweet Caroline, Love On The Rocks, Thank The Lord for the Night Time, and America. And it was So good, So good, So good.... Thank you SO much Tom, we thoroughly enjoyed being there! |
