Postcard History
Columbia River Highway, Oregon

On June 6, 1916, the official dedication of the Columbia River Highway from Portland to Hood River, Oregon, took place at Crown Point. The Vista House was then constructed between 1916 and 1918, and Cross & Dimmitt produced and sold post cards in the building for many of it's early years.
