NEIL DIAMOND
- It's true, once is not enough.

Neil is like a drug, he is very addicting. After leaving a concert, you can't wait for the next one. For the 2 and one half hours he is on stage he takes the audience away from the life realities and puts them into a fantasy world. No one has a care in the world when at his concerts. I just went Dec. 21, 99 and can't wait to see him again.

NEIL DIAMOND

- I was thirteen when I turned on my heart light and headed for the future. When children played it seemed like I ended up alone. People would ask me if I was OK. I am I said to them. You could say it's the story of my life. I always seemed to be different. Alone. It is in these times that I turned to a friend. The only one I could find in my mind. But then there was another. Neil Diamond. I would sit up in my room and listen to his Greatest Hits album over and over. It's as if I would look at the cover and it would say, play me. And I did. My brothers would join me and we would just sit there all day long and sing with Neil. I never cared for the sound of being alone either Neil. Yours is the true Salvation Show.

Thanks to all who take the time to give us this opportunity to speak our thoughts. After all, if there were no dreams, nothing would ever happen.

Forever in Blue Jeans yours,

Jason

NEIL DIAMOND
- Hello to you all. I have been a fan of Neils for over 25 years now. I made a sign 25 years ago which says "I'm glad your here with me tonight". I have brought it to all of the concerts but the first one in Springfield, Mass in 1975 at which time I was hooked.

I have been to 20 concerts altogether. Spfg., Mass.--Hartford, Ct.--Providence, R.I.--Orlando, Fla.--Tampa, Fla.--New Haven, Ct. Most of those places several times. But the best was on December 21, 1999 at which he dedicated the concert to the 6 fallen firemen of Worcester, Mass. who lost their lives in a terrible fire 2 weeks before the concert. He really gave his all that night, even donating stick on frogs to the firefighters to sell to raise money for the firefighter's familys. He also donated the money from the programs that were sold that night. He also sang the last song in memory of them---He's Not Heavy He's My Brother, which brought the house down. What a wonderful and thoughtful and talented man he is. He knows how to reach out to his audience and to make them a part of the whole experience. He also appreciates his fans and lets them know it. He is one of the most talented performers that I know. I only thank God that I was on this earth at the same time that he is. He and his beautiful noise has brought me many wonderful moments.

Thank you Neil for just being you.

NEIL DIAMOND
- Ok Ok Ok ...I have to write after seeing so many other true fans spill their guts. Which reminds me...a little background...I was 16 when one of my sisters brought home Neil Diamond's K-Tel album from Canadian Tire (Ya, Canadian Tire sold records in those days). It was called "The Neil Diamond Collection". 20 Oldies each about 2 1/2 minutes long. The album said "Stereo'. We had only a home made record player that my dad had built with only one speaker from a Heathkit so we thought...bummer...can't play this, better take it back. So acting on my sister's (4) orders I took it back to C.T. The man there said "read the fine print...can also be played on mono equipment".

So I took it back home and that record (1975 was the year) was played everyday, almost on the hour by me or one of my other 6 siblings. Our poor mono system never sounded so good!

That's how it all began!

Now some 25 years later and owning some 20 albums, 25 cassettes and another 25 CD's... I guess you could consider me a Diamondhead! Do I qualify? My favorite album was and probably the best live album ever recorded was undoubtedly "HOT AUGUST NIGHT" . Man ..."What a Title". I used to have so many dreams of me just being there. In my dreams I would start out watching as one of the tree people and then as the album replayed in my dream I was able to soar above the crowd and almost be one with the music. I had a front row seat! Now, with my wife and 3 kids, my time and energies are focused on them but every so often, about once a year, I get one of those truly sensational, fantastic dreams! , and hey...please don't wake me if I do! (Almost make a fellow want to go to bed early!)

My dream is to one day get a chance to see Neil LIVE! As far as I know Neil hasn't been to Nova Scotia since 1966 (Could be wrong..but for sure not since 1975). Hey Neil, think about it...Don't "forget about it" as they say in the Bronx.

Well...that's my story. Thanks for reading!

Mike

NEIL DIAMOND
- I had the HONOR of being third row seats at Neil Diamond's New Year's Eve Concert in Denver. I had the best view - he started and finished almost every song right in front of us (I went with a great guest)...and I have been such a Neil fan for soooooo long (70's, I think) but a tremendous fan like all of YOU!!)...and ...holy cow...what a FANTASTIC evening. Reading all these E-mails have made me cry. What this man has is so incredible. His voice... So pure (for me..). He just sings to every fiber in my being. I don't fantasize about being 'with' him. Or that maybe someday I could make him dinner... (He is handsome), but I lose myself in his singing like no other singer. I just want to thank him (maybe he'll read these...) for sharing his life and most importantly, his voice with us. Wow. Don't ever stop.

NEIL DIAMOND
- I have been a fan of Neil's since I was in grammar school as my older brother was also(now deceased), but before he passed on suddenly from a massive heart attack he always said he would love to see him in concert. So back in the 80's I found out that Neil was going to be in Madison Square Garden and I got 3 tickets. One for him, one for myself, and one for a friend. Well I can tell you that was the happiest night of my brother's life! He couldn't stop talking about it and he said he could never thank me enough for giving him the ticket, and I answered him with "The smile you had on your face was the only thank you I needed."

I saw Neil a couple of times after and always felt like my brother was standing next to me. And every time I play Neil's CDs or hear him sing I think of the night my brother got to see him in person. It is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Thanks Neil.

Forever,
Mary

NEIL DIAMOND
- Hey Neil,

How do you express an emotion so strong that a person gives you through words of song and visions of love?

Please come back to UK very soon, I miss you.

Thanks for the emotions, but they are always 'Done too Soon'

NEIL DIAMOND
- I can remember the first time I heard Neil Diamond. I was a young girl and he was on television performing Holly Holy, I feel in love right then and there. I told my mother that for Christmas and my birthday I wanted his records (this was before CDs). She told me it was just a "phase" I was going through and I would outgrow it. Well some 20 years later I am still in that "phase". I love Neil's music. I still have many, many of his records - though I no longer have anything to play them on. I also have many of his casettes. I have never been disappointed in his music. On the 16th birthday I got to go to a Neil Diamond concert in Dayton, Ohio and it was the highlight of my teenage years. I now live in a city in central Texas and we do not have a radio station that plays Neil's music so I am forever greatful for my CDs. I love music and listen to it regularly and Neil is still one of my very favorite. I even had a dog named Shilo after one of his songs. I hope to eventually see him in concert again.

Thanks Neil for all the joy you bring to your fans!!! My favorite album of all times is "Moods".

Forever in Blue Jeans,

NEIL DIAMOND
- I have been a Neil Diamond fan since 1968. I received the Hot August Night Album for Christmas and have been hooked ever since. My niece (who is 12 years younger than I am) goes to every concert when he comes to Denver. One year we were lucky enough to get second row tickets on the floor. What an exciting time, one that we will never forget. I am also very fortunate to be attending his Millenium Concert New Year's Eve in Denver!! Neil is a great entertainer and especially a great songwriter. He should definitely be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!!!!

A loyal NEILFAN...forever.

NEIL DIAMOND
- I have followed Neil's group for many years. His music captivates an audience. I particularly enjoy his number with Linda Press and wish they would do more. From young to old - he has the audience in the palm of his hand. Thank you Neil..

Sincerely,
Andra Stone

NEIL DIAMOND
- I have been a Neil fan for 10 years now, strange as I am only 10.

My earliest memory is going to nursery singing come se come say (from Soolaimon I know wrong words) and selataper man (Solitary Man). I don't know how I could live without Neil's music, whether it is belting out Brother Loves Travelling Salvation Show or the sweet voice of Play Me.

However since I heard Neil as a bump, I have been hooked. My most prized possession are autographed drumsticks from Vince Charles which I got on the Tennessee Moon tour in 1996 at the Nynex.

NEIL DIAMOND
- With reference to CH the mad Neil Diamond fan from Manchester. I am his mum, and have been a fan of Neil since 1970, but only got to see him for the first time in 1984. It was magical, and with each concert, he just gets better and better. CH is right, I did play Neil's music to him as a 'bump'. I was in a hospital 10 weeks before he was born, and it was only my personal CD player and collection of Neil music that kept me going. My son loved Neil right from the word go, and if I needed to wake him from a nap, I needed only to play Beautiful Noise and he would wake with a smile on his face. I went to a concert when he was 3 -WITHOUT HIM. He caused such a fuss, I promised not to do it again.

When Neil came to Manchester in 1996, he was just so excited for months before the concert--which just so coincided with a holiday in Ibiza, which he gladly let me cancel, in order to see Neil. We were lucky to get seats on the 2nd row, but he looked so sweet in his Tennessee Moon hat, the bouncers took him down to sit with them at the front. Not that he sat, he danced along all night, earning smiles and waves from most of the band, Yes INCLUDING NEIL - I was envious. Hadley seemed particularly taken with him, and waved every time he revolved past, but the highlight of his night (and probably his life so far) is the autographed drumsticks, that Vince threw to him. Every Christmas and birthday he buys me a frog, be it an ornament or jewelry. He has an extensive collection of cuddly frogs, and has even filled my car with so many of them, the local kids call it the frogmobile. He attended his 2nd concert in February 1999, and this time we were on the front row.

We have just bought him a computer for Christmas, needless to say the wallpaper and screen saver are full of Neil. Now he wants a NEIL DIAMOND web page. He just loves these Neil Diamond pages, and is viewing them every day. I am proud of my son, and so happy that I can share my love of Neil and his music with him. Neither of us can imagine a life without Neil.

NEIL DIAMOND
- I am a Neil fan since 1968. At first I just liked his voice and songs. But when I heard Hot August Night I for the first time I was hooked. Although I am living in Amsterdam The Netherlands, I've seen Neil twice in concert. The last time it was on March 17, 1999 and I'm still glowing when I think back of that wonderful evening. 2 1/2 hours on a balcony with a beautiful view, in Ahoy Rotterdam was like a 6 weeks vacation full of joy. I love all his songs and when I'm listening to the words he's singing it is as if he knows what I feel.

One of my favourite favourites :-))) is Tennessee Moon. I listen to his songs every day and I know for sure that he sings at least one song especially for me and that is Hey (my) Louise from the Jazzsinger. My Christian name is Louise and while he's singing that song for me I am giving him the right answers. For me he is the best singer and perfomer in this and in the next millennium. I really hope I'll see him once again in concert in my lifetime.

With love Lous (Louise) Roos,
Amsterdam The Netherlands
