Neil just makes me happy, every time that my life gives me some kind of problem, there comes Neil. It seems silly to care so much for someone you don't know, but his music is the best thing to get me going, and in a better mood!!
And now he will be comming on tour. I am so Excited, people at work think I am nuts, because I've been talking about him non stop. I tell them, if you saw him in concert just one time, you would be hooked forever, like me..
Last time he was in Chicago, I had 3rd row seats!!! It was the best!! Hope I can get even better seats this time, like in the first row, so I could get a kiss from him like one lady did that day I was sitting in the third row!!!!
I will allways love you Neil, you are the BEST!!!!!!!
I am just sitting here in Brisbane, Australia on 16 March, 2005 and counting down til I see Neil come on stage tonight at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. My grown up daughter is coming with me - she was brought up on his music and is a great fan. This will be the second concert we've been to, and I can't wait. I just found this site and agree with everything people say - Neil's music has got me through some very sad and stressful times, as well as happy ones - hope you keep well and happy, Neil,
Thank you so much,
I am from Denmark Copenhagen. When are you coming here just one time? I have been listing to your songs since 1967 and still today I like all the songs we have got from you. I hope one day to see and hear you.
My name is Sue, and I have been a fan for some 30 years. I first heard a Neil song whilst on holiday in Spain. We had met up with a couple and were having drinks with them when this Spanish group came on and sang "Longfellow Serenade". They sang in English - the words hooked me, and when the song had finished the couple with us said he is great - have you been to any of his shows? I thought they were talking about the Spanish group. No, not them, Neil Diamond. I had not heard of him. (Some will say where have you been living?!) They were flabbergasted. They then gave me a title of 2 albums at the time - 12 Greatest Hits and Hot August Night. So when back home, I kept this in mind, and opted for 12 Greatest Hits when I saw the cover. I was blown, WOW! I ran home - no car then - and put it on - and the rest is history.
Go Neil! You are such a Gentleman of the Road and from what I have seen, whatever else you do. Looking forward to the shows in 2005.
"Longfellow Serenade" is my all time favorite for that reason - would be good to hear in one the shows maybe?

Neil is a motivated entertainer and his music reaches people in every generation! I think if people really followed some of his lyrics they would relate to a lot of his music. He has managed to keep that shy image of his life and not let the success go to his head.
The next time the question of why do your fans like you, he can reply because they do! I have been ill and the STAGES album has kept me from going crazy. As he says about his band, his music brings me up and sometimes down, but in a good fashion.
Hi and best wishes to all Diamondheads!
I have been a fan of Neil Diamond forever. I have not had the pleasure of going to a concert as I live up north in Prince Rupert, about half hour flight from Alaska. Whenever he has had a show in Vancouver, which is the nearest city he can hold a concert in, I am either going through the day before or the day after. Because airline tickets are so expensive I cannot change the dates without costing another couple of hundred of dollars. My family has been good enough to buy everything they can in cd’s, videos or movies. I have The Jazz singer that we bring out every Christmas and the family sits together to watch and enjoy it every time. I hope he will have a tour again in Vancouver or better yet if he fishes maybe he will visit our area as it is prime area for sport fishing, salt water or fresh water.
Keep up the good music Neil.
Just wanted to let you know how much I adore you. I have been a fan since I saw you for the first time in 1983. Your music has brought so much pleasure to my life, I thank you. Hopefully, you will be coming to the Washington DC area in 2005.
God bless you and your band. Thank you again for bringing so much joy to my life through your music.
Just want to wish Neil a Happy Birthday.....and many thanks for your music and great songs......When I am sad I listen to your music and I am happy again..... When I am happy I listen to your music and they make me even happier.....They play a big part in my life......so thank you again....and hope you have a wonderful birthday..... Hopefully soon I will be able to see you in concert in Seattle!!

I listened to you at my grandmother's house growing up, now I listen to you at my boyfriend's house everyday, he is a Neil Diamond impersonator. He sounds so much like you, sometimes I have to remind myself it's really not you singing. His latest song of yours that he likes is Kol Nidre. He has won a karaoke contest performing your music. I love all of your songs, but The Story Of My Life and Songs Of Life are my favorites. Every time I hear those songs I cry. The way you sing those songs has so much feeling in it. It makes me think of my life. Thank you so much for the "Beautiful Noise".
My boyfriend also loves your music is there any advice you can offer him when he is performing your music? My son is 12 yrs old and he is singing all of your songs as well. I am the luckiest person in the world, to be surrounded by your voice everyday. I have two Neil Diamonds in my life.
Thank you, Love,
Clifton Springs, New York
In the light of the day and the dark of the night, Neil's music feels to me as a baby feels whenever he/she is held in his/her loved one's arms and is nutured in a way that is pure and healthy and good.
Thank you, Neil for sharing your sensitive, caring soul. You have and always will help me through the spectrum of my personal emotions.
May you and yours reap all that your hearts desire from this life.
Peace, Love, Understanding and Respect,
ES MAGISTRAL ESTA PAGINA Y SOY UN FAN DESDE QUE TENÍA 12 AÑOS, HOY TENGO 43. ME GUSTARIA SABER ALGO MÁS DE SU VIDA Y SU BIOGRAFIA EN CASTELLANO. GRACIAS. MI NOMBRE ES JESUS ALONSO JIMENEZ, VIVO EN MADRID. (ESPAÑA)
THIS PAGINA IS SKILLFUL And I AM A FAN SINCE IT WAS 12 YEARS OLD, TODAY I HAVE 43. GUSTARIA TO KNOW To SOMETHING MORE OF ITS LIFE And ITS BIOGRAFIA To ME IN CASTILIAN. THANKS. MY NAME IS JESUS ALONSO JIMENEZ, ALIVE IN MADRID. (SPAIN)
I first heard Neil on the radio in 1969. The announcer introduced him by saying he was a song writer but coming into his own right as a singer. I just fell in love with his gravel voice and have been a fan ever since. I've seen him in concert twice in Glasgow and wish he would come more often. 'Diamond is Forever' !
Sent a message June 2001 and just ordered my tickets for the Woburn show in June next year, 28 (!!) years after the last one.
Can't wait - I am sure it will be as magical as that all those years ago.
I'm a really big fan of Neil's, so much like everyone else here. He's music brings love and joy to me everytime I listen to him. From what I hear, he is a wonderful person and if I ever get a chance to meet him in this lifetime, I will consider it an honor. I will always love Neil.
My name is Angela. I am from Alabama. I am 36 years old. I have been a big Neil Diamond fan since I was 10 years old. If it wasn't for Neil Diamond and his music I wouldn't be alive today.
He is more than just a singer to me. He is my Hero. He saved my life. He helped me through some VERY hard times.
He will always be a Hero to me, and I do mean always.
Please, Please, Please Neil, do a U.S. tour soon. I fear my chances of seeing you are getting very slim. My Body seems to have a mind of it's own, and while my mind says I'm only in my 20's, and am actually in my later 40's, my body is in full revolt. I've had 11 surguries in the past 4 years, but as worn out as I am, nothing has helped. Before long I probably will be wheelchailr bound. And I want to go to your concert and be in the first row so if I'm lucky enough to be "The Girl" you chose to sing Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon to, I can do it on own my own two legs. Then I believe I'll be able to make peace with what can't be changed.
I have a 7 yr. old Down Syndrome son who would love to meet you. You are his idol. I'm glad he has such good taste in music, and apparently he hears some of who you really are in your music. It's all he listens to.
Please, just 1 more U.S. tour to Oklahoma. I'll find a way to get there, me and my boy both. Thanks, Just for being there for us.
With sincere awe and adoration.
Just want you all to know that if you have not allowed Neil in your heart, you do not know what you are missing. He is such a part of my life and has been, for most of my life. I have not had the pleasure of meeting him but feel as though he is a part of me. I take personal pride in all of his successes. Can't put my finger on the reason. It Is What It Is.
Will love you forever Neil.
Fans of Argentina are waiting for you so that you can sing live, SWEET CAROLINE, HOLLY HOLY, I AM....I SAID, PLAY ME, SOOLAIMON, SEPTEMBER MORN, and many others.
When you are going to come?
Vicente M. Bovelli
I carried Neil Diamond songs with me overseas in 1969. Been to all his concerts in Michigan. We all get on in years, and it's too bad it's all going to end someday.
I'm 56 yrs old. I stood in line once at Pine Nob all night to buy tickets. Beautiful Noise was the time. One of my favorites is Hey Sunday Sun.
Live In America is on all the time in my 1994 600HP Camaro, and in my truck. Red Red Wine is soooo cool!
I wish I had one of his baseball hats. Saw the bass player once wearing one, said to myself "Got to have one of those!"
I cry when I think of when it's all going to end, that will be when my music dies.....
I'm a Diamond Fan. He's the Best!
As a lover of all music since I was in my teens, I became a fan of Neils' when one day I heard September Morn. That did it, from then he's been my idol. Then more so when I bought the album from the movie The Jazz Singer. Also was thrilled to see the movie!
So now I'm either listening to Neil's cassettes or watching him on video. THE best is Love at the Greek. I watch it daily, what looks and performance!
Mary from Pa.
I think he is the best song writer and singer of all time. I've seen him live many times and still I get a thrill off knowing I am seeing the best. His songs are wonderful, so true in their words and their love. Neil is a song writer from the heart. You have to be a romantic yourself to know this. My recent trip of seeing Neil was when I had a front row seat. I never dreamt I would ever get a front row seat, and to see Neil so close and experience the joy he brings to others i s a wonderful experience. That concert is one I will never ever forget.
When I am feeling sad, or had a bad day I put on one of Neil's songs. It helps me straight away. My best one is I am...I Said, it's so very true. We are all lonely at some point in our lives, and Neil reflected this in this song.
Please Neil, come back to England soon, we all miss you! Keep up the wonderful writing and keep on being you. From a very big fan, you're great!!
Simply the best,
I have been a Neil Diamond fan ever since I bought the Shilo album in the early 1970's. I always get great pleasure listening to Neil's music. I love Sweet Caroline and when My Best Friend and I are at a party and that comes on, we jump up like 2 teenagers, as we just love it soooo much.
My friend and I have been to all of his concerts when he comes to Melbourne (Australia). Most times we go to one concert and then we come out of the concert and go and buy a ticket to see the last concert and we don't care where we sit, just as long as we can hear him. He is coming to Australia next year, and we will be there for 2 concerts. I just love it when he sings Coming To America.
When I am stressed I put Neil's music on and in no time I am singing along to his music and the stress disappeares. My three children grew up on Neil's music, and when they come to visit you can hear them singling along to the good sounds. I am a Lady in my 50's and I would like to meet the Great Man and have my photo taken with him. Who knows when he comes to Melbourne it might just happen!
Neil I will love your music until I die. Also I will love you till the end of time as well.
I am proud to be a Diamondhead.
I enjoy your music so much! It uplifts me when I'm down, in a good way....songs like I AM...I SAID and AMERICA, and the WHALE SONG. I look forward to your next tour to Vancouver, in which I've seen every concert.
